"We sat stunned by what we were seeing! Our country being attacked, ahh, but by whom? Fact was no one seemed to know for certain. But, yes, we had chaos!I kept thinking , why, why, would any one want to hurt private citizens? Hard as it was to believe there it was all over the news. This must be remembered as the day America cried. We cry for those who lost their lives, for their families and friends, and for those brave rescue workers that gave their all that day.
Now we face the future. We must remember to be strong and give our support to those in the armed forces and to our Commander and Chief, President Bush.
Our country has faced many trials and together we have came through it when we held hands and stood united. It reminds me of the old song, United We Stand. Next lines to that song are, devided we fall and if our backs should ever be against the wall, we'll be together, you and I! We should remember the message of this song.
